Welcome to my website

I am a UK based (Hertfordshire) contemporary jeweller, using silver, hand stitched silk threads, & found objects collected from mudlarking along the River Thames, as well as beachcombing & field walking finds in my work.

Pieces of discarded metal, with signs of age and wear and tear, are hand stitched to silver forms, to blend the colours of the rust or patina from the object to the silver, or to add a bright pop of colour to catch attention.

Everyday objects, such as pins & nails, that were handmade generations ago & have had a previous life, value, & use, are worked on by my hands to give them a new chapter, raising their status again & making them little pieces of wearable history.

About Me

After a previous career as a nurse & a support worker, I returned to university as a mature student & graduated with a BA in Applied Arts from the University of Hertfordshire in 2008. I was lucky enough to spend some time on an art residency in Husavik, Iceland in 2015, which inspired & informed the development of my work with found objects.

My work can be found on my online shop, & I also exhibit at shows across the UK. I belong to the Association for Contemporary Jewellery, as well as being a Find a Maker member.

Tailor made commissions

I am always happy to undertake commissions, & can work with found objects of your own to tailor make a piece for you.
